About Carol

Carol Lettko, MA, CCC-SLP, has 40-plus years of experience as a speech-language pathologist. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, preschools, students' homes, and private practice.

For the past two decades, she’s primarily worked with deaf and/or hard of hearing children through a non-profit early intervention program that uses a total communication philosophy (signs paired simultaneously with words).

Her specialization has been working with children with cochlear implant devices and supporting their families throughout the journey.

Carol believes in a multi-modality approach to communication, so that children experiencing a variety of challenges can express themselves effectively. She’s currently a consultant at a non-profit school, where she mentors the SLPs and partners with community organizations to host online workshops for parents and caregivers of hearing children.

For the last year, Carol has been chosen to be on the expert relations team for the international Lovevery toy company and is currently working on her first children’s book series.
